I believe in giving back to my communities, mentoring young professionals, and working toward positive social change. I’ve volunteered as a mentor at UC Berkely for the Social Innovation Hackathon, as well as participated in Heifer International’s “Hack Week.” I’m passionate about promoting women in tech, and I’ve attended events by Women Techmakers, Women Who Code, and Creative Mornings. I also regularly attend events for inspiration and networking. Recent conferences include: Google I/O, An Event Apart, Design Week Portland, BigDesign, WeMake, and Circles.
